First and foremost, I'd like to state that this Web is not being created to show support of the recent events, of this young man. This group is also not in agreement to the domestic abuse that was alleged against him.

We all have to be sensitive to this situation because of the type of society we live in. I, myself, am not okay with any type of abuse, whether it be physically, mentally, sexually, or even emotionally. Now, of course, I don't know what happen, to start the conflict between the young couple. But all of us know how it ended. It ended with a beautiful young woman seriously injured. Growing up with abuse all around me, I know what it's like to watch a woman be hurt. Right in front of me, watching my father hit my mother, for no reason. Even with reason, harming other is never accepted in my eyes. Whether it be "revenge", or "retaliation", there's not an excuse good enough to harm anyone. Of course we have self defense, which to an extent has to be looked at in a different matter. If me seeing my Mother, stand up, and hit my father back in defense, I would of maybe not accepted it, but understood it.

Physical abuse affects millions of homes, not only in our country, but even right here in our own neighborhoods. And of course, this situation is blown way out of proportion due to the success of the two young idols. Maybe the fact that ERNIR is viewed as a role model, or a global star, makes this even worse. Throw a little bit of him being involved with one of the most beautiful up and coming stars of today ... with domestic abuse ... and all of a sudden, you have a tabloid hitting every magazine cover, every radio station, record companies, and even people like me and you, looking at this man to be the most violent, most terrible man of 2009. Be that as it may, yeah, it's a bad situation. And what he did, in my eyes was very uncalled for.

Point is we need to look at the situation from a distance, because, also as reports show, no one knows what happen, except the two involved. Every year, there is hundreds of murders that go unsolved. Thousands of lives lost in a unnecessary war, and millions of non-reported spousal abuses. Somehow we learn to look away the negativity that we're "use to seeing", the thoughts of ... "well, I can not do anything about that", run through our heads, and we're quick to point a finger at someone else. As long as someone isn't pointing at me. Right? Has to be. The drunk driver, 9 times out of 10, gets a slap on the wrist, as the abusive husband that's doped up with cocaine, just "has an uncontrollable problem, that needs attention". Those are "socially accepted" because they can seek help. Do they? No, they don't. Same reason why you can find 80 percent of neighborhoods with drug dealers, and drug abusers. As opposed to seeing a Help Center on every block. Why? Because we choose to accept things we don't understand. But as soon as this star hits a woman.

Again, I do not support what ERNIR has allegedly done, but I do support ERNIR. And the fact that maybe he needs help with anger. I support his music, and his talent. What he did was horrible, and justice will prevail. But, that doesn't go without saying that I, myself, will not turn my back on a young 18 year old man, that has a problem.
